The boudoir photography experience with Nikki was so special. She had been wanting to do a boudoir shoot for a while and when she found me through Thumbtack, we connected! I could tell Nikki was genuinely kind by what she does. She is an ultrasound technician for high-risk pregnancies. I am in total admiration for this line of work. My sister had a high-risk pregnancy and I first-hand understand how delicate these situations can be.  To know that Nikki every day is helping women through this important process of their life made me so excited to photograph her.

We had so much fun, A funny part was that Nikki had packed a whole bag of lingerie that was forgotten at home! Luckily, the studio closet was there to help out. This is what she said about it, 

“ I carefully packed a bag full of lingerie for my shoot only to completely forget it at work &  not realize it until I rang the bell at Nomi’s studio. Talk about a blunder! Thankfully though, Nomi has an excellent eye for lingerie & swiftly put together different looks for me, including shoes, which ultimately turned out better than the outfits I originally planned to wear.” 

Nikki chose to create a 12″x16″ custom-framed piece for her apartment (photo of it hanging in her home coming soon!!), a Boudoir by Nomi USB to store her images, and I gifted her a leather valet with her favorite photo (who doesn’t love presents??). Wall art is such a special way to remember your shoot. Every time you look at it you can remind yourself how special and beautiful you are, something we can never do enough of!
