Connecting with my clients, making them feel happy, is always important to me. With Annette, a busy mother of two, we totally got each other and worked to create the most amazing experience for her boudoir shoot.

Annette from the beginning was all about the female empowerment. She totally got why I do this work and was so excited to have photos to celebrate herself. She ALSO had an important wedding anniversary coming up and was having her wedding renewal on a tropical island and wanted to surprise her hubby with the photos and album.

We exchanged a bunch of emails and phone calls prior to the shoot. Leading up to it, I felt so excited because I love photographing moms who need their own TLC time.

The photo shoot breezed by and she totally rocked it. I demonstrated the poses and she even had some amazing ideas herself that we incorporated. When it came time to choose her favorites, she decided to go for a metallic leather album with 20 images. When she received it in the mail I got an e-mail that was full of glee and delight. I loved helping her celebrate her vow renewals and can’t wait to have her back in the studio ASAP. 

I asked Annette to share a few words about her experience, here is what she said:

“From the moment I saw the posting for “women empowerment” I was so intrigued on finding out more! I started seeing how Nomi wasn’t the same “cookie cutter” photographer that pegs women to be “one size fits all” & that’s what made me click with her.  After having 2 kids & always being a curvy girl I didn’t want a photographer who wasn’t going to embrace me for me, for my curves.  I made it clear to her, I’m not a size 0 & she didn’t shy away! If anything she welcomed it! We need more photographers like her who understand that woman come in all sizes, shapes, colors, etc & make you feel good about yourself.  Now that was just the initial stages of prepping for the shoot! Lol you can imagine the excitement leading up to the shoot! 😁 the Day of the shoot Nomi was not only professional she was so welcoming & made you feel so comfortable doing a boudoir shoot! I can say that I was 100% comfortable, felt confidant & can’t wait to book my next session! She’s an amazing person who eludes positivity towards everyone around her❤️”

Her husband also had a few words to add:

“The most gorgeous woman I’ve ever laid my eyes on! Looks even better 20 years later. Easy to fall in love with her again! How can I not love her? Extremely happy with my surprise!”
