The idea of boudoir shoot came to mind when I was on my Greek vacation in Athens.  I was taking a short break from my business and my 17-month gorgeous little one who was staying with her grandparents. Boudoir photography was my dream and while being among Greeks who always have dreams present and active in their minds, I decided that it was time to search for a professional boudoir photography near me once I was back in Brooklyn.

A boudoir shoot was definitely my first step on the journey of self-love and empowerment. Celebrating and loving yourself while exploring your sensuality in an intimate setting with a photographer – these thoughts were circulating in my mind. I am a huge fan of a professional camera, I treat it as an electronic device to celebrate and capture my uniqueness, not to define who I am. I was ready to shower myself and celebrate my beauty, inner strength and motherhood through the lens of intimate photography.

Once I found ‘Boudoir by Nomi’ website and literally fell in love with it. I quickly booked a session with Nomi. I felt that boudoir photography for her was more than just the photos. It was about making women feel confident, empowered and just fabulous. This was the outcome I was looking for.

Working in front of Nomi’s camera was really easy. Nomi was so encouraging, warm-hearted and – with no doubt – an excellent boudoir photographer. The results were overwhelming. I grabbed Nomi’s hand in the viewing. I could not believe I was looking at my own body, this is how stunning it was. Seeing myself through Nomi’s eyes has definitely helped me to see how truly beautiful I am.

I hope one day to be back to her studio for intimate couples photo shoot with the ONE who deserves it. Couples boudoir photography provides a glimpse of what intimacy looks like and it will be a totally different experience.
