1. What made you choose Boudoir by Nomi?

 

I have been flirting with the idea of a boudoir photo session for a few years now. I would look for photographers but was never really drawn to their photos until I found Boudoir by Nomi. I was googling boudoir photographers and BOOM! I found Boudoir by Nomi and when I saw her pictures I was blown away, women of all shapes, sizes and color…..all GORGEOUS! I wanted NOMI to make me look GORGEOUS!

 

2. What were you nervous about going into your session?

 

I think the most nerve wrecking part was the fear of the unknown, specifically, being vulnerable and unveiling myself before Nomi, a stranger, to take photos of a body that I have spent most of my life criticizing.

 

3. What was your favorite part of the experience?

 

The whole experience was INCREDIBLE! It takes you through a range of emotions….nervousness, excitement, shyness, embarrassment, silliness, and finally happiness. You start off nervous – this is unknown territory, I questioned should I have signed up for this? Then you get there and you meet these great woman, Nomi and Jane. Nomi is so welcoming, down to earth and real. Instantly, I knew that this was going to be a great experience (even if I was scared to see the final product because of my own insecurities).  Jane was my makeup artist and hair stylist. She was great and kept me preoccupied with conversation while making me look my best.   

But my favorite part was the sneak peek of the photo…. I walked out smiling and in love with the woman that I see in the mirror every day! She is worth it! She is GORGEOUS and it’s unfortunate I took so long to realize it but now that I have there is no going back.

 

4. How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

 

Honestly, after this amazing experience, I am grateful and appreciative of my body. I feel BEAUTIFUL and I LOVE it! 

 

5. Would you recommend Boudoir by Nomi to others?

 

Absolutely! Not only was the experience empowering and amazing but so is Nomi! Nomi and I had great conversation throughout and good vibes all around…..we need more of this in today’s world!
