1) What made you choose Boudoir by Nomi?

I heard about Boudoir by Nomi when a burlesque dancer I follow on social media (@jezebelexpress) posted about her experience with Nomi.  I started following Nomi’s social media account and loved not only the photos she was posting but the messaging around celebrating your body and self-love.

2) What were you nervous about going into your session?

I was incredibly nervous about the session but it had nothing to do with Nomi.  From our first video chat consultation through walking out the door at the end, Nomi and her team are incredible.  I was terribly nervous about my own emotions getting in the way.  Would I be able to let go enough to just enjoy the experience.  Would Nomi even be able to get a good photo of me.  Would I be smiling? Would the smile look real or forced? Would I be able to see my body in a different light or would the photos confirm all the worst things I think about myself. Would I have such an outpouring of anxiety that I would shut down? 

3) What was your favorite part of the experience?

My favorite part of the experience was seeing the results at the end.  I was so nervous looking at those photos but Nomi was able to bring out a genuine side of me that showed in the pictures I was able to select.  They look like me.  They look real.  They look beautiful.  

4) How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

I feel grateful.  Grateful to Nomi and her team.  Grateful for allowing myself to try this.  Grateful for the environment that Nomi creates.  She’s part hype woman, part therapist, part friend, all professional. 

5) Would you recommend Boudoir by Nomi to others?

I would recommend Boudoir by Nomi a million times over. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience.
